Description: The 54th Street and Flint Project will serve as a Phase 2 stormwater improvement that continues the McAnany project by conveying stormwater from McAnany Drive to the existing system at 54th Street and Flint Street.

The project will include:
- new reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and storm inlets along some rear property lines as well as 53rd Terrace and Flint Street.
- New and replacement curb, along with mill and overlay improvements
- Streetlight improvements on 53rd Terrace and Flint St to 54th St.
- Grading to accommodate future sidewalk construction at a later date.

This project would be funded entirely by the City of Shawnee through the Parks and Pipes Fund and General Fund.
Status Details: Council awarded design agreement at August 24th Council meeting. 

Design started. Survey work will commence in September 2026.
