Description: The section of 51st Street from Black Swan Drive to Quivira Road is a two-lane road with open ditches and does not include pedestrian or bike facilities.

One of the goals of this project is to replace the open ditches with improved stormwater infrastructure and add walking and biking facilities that support a safer, more walkable, and better connected neighborhood.
Status Details: Project is currently in the design phase. Utility relocations are anticipated to begin late spring of 2026. Project construction is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2026
