The stormwater project will remove and replace or line up to 4460 linear feet of failing pipes at 30 locations throughout the City - see attached maps for locations. In addition, a streamcut on the south side of Garrett Park on a tributary to Mill Creek is to be restored with rock and check dams near 49th and Roundtree Pedestrian Bridge and two adjacent downstream storm pipe outfalls. |

The contractor has Final Repair maps for the 2025 project are attached.
The intention is to complete pipe repair locations in advance of the 2025 Mill & Overlay project. The intent is to generally complete map locations on Mill & Overlay Streets first. These streets can be seen on the " 2025 Shawnee PR Map Update" attachment as gold lines. The contractor will then complete all other locations and any emergency locations that are added later by change order.
Wiedenmann is currently working on Maps 25 and 41. Wiedenmann is back working on the project now after the holidays, progress is typically a bit slower in January - early March due to temperatures that sometimes limit speed and construction activities. Concrete and asphalt work typically do not occur when temperatures are below 40 degrees. Wiedenmann has completed about 85% of the awarded work.
"Starting Soon" Map locations for January and February include: Maps 11, 13, 40, 41, 47 and 49.
Maps planned for late February or March include: Maps 15 and 26 and any late addition locations.
Completed Maps: Map 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 14, 17, 18, 19, 21, 21, 22, 28, 29, 30, 32, 34, 36, 39, 43, 44, 45, 46, 48 and 49th and Roundtree.
Maps Substantially Completed: Maps 8, 35, 37 and 42.
The contractor has placed sod on repair areas completed prior to December 1st. Weather dependant this process will continue sequentially into winter. As additional sites are completed over the winter, sod placement may be delayed while ground is frozen and resume again as spring approaches.
