The Applicant seeks approval for a rezoning from the AG (Agriculture) Zoning District to the RS (Residential Suburban) Zoning District and final plat approval for a two lot residential subdivision for property located at 15101 Johnson Drive. The request is filed by the property owners, Kyle and Lauren Hoffman.

The rezoning request is for the 3.2-acre Lot 1. The remaining 32.0-acre Lot 2 will retain the existing AG zoning designation. The Final Plat will include both lots and public street right-of-way for adjacent Johnson Drive and future Lackman Road. Approval of this request will allow the Applicant to create a lot out of the northeast corner of the 38.2 acres they own to construct a new single-family home for a family member.
Status Details This project requires a Public Hearing before the Planning Commission and final approval from the City Council.

This project was recommended for approval at the Planning Commission meeting on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 7:30pm, and was approved by the City Council on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 6:00pm.
